T- NR20 turbo cartridge belongs to T- / T- NR series exhaust gas turbochargers which were designed comparatively simply with a cast radial turbine, which is suitable for heavy fuel oil engines, marine diesel oil engines, biofuel and gas operation enginess. Products are available for a wide engine power range, from 450 kW to 5400kW per turbocharger and without compromise in reliability and perforce.
T- NR series turbocharger is widely used in ship building, locomotive, land power station and petroleum drilling industries, extensively applicable to in-land and coastal transportation and fishing due to its high efficiency, small size, light weight, favorable maintainability and serviceability, adequate supply of spare parts.

The marine turbocharger, also known as exhaust gas turbocharger, is the main equipment in the diesel engine boosting system. It consists of a single-stage exhaust gas turbine and a centrifugal compressor. They are mounted on the same shaft to form the moving part of the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger - the rotor. The function of the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger is to use the diesel exhaust energy to drive the turbine to drive the compressor on the coaxial to increase the air pressure into the cylinder, so that the diesel engine power is greatly improved. The exhaust turbocharger approximately doubles the power of the diesel engine, but its weight is only increased 10%.
When the diesel-exhaust turbocharger combination is in operation, the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger is prone to failures such as turbine casing corrosion, bearing damage, blade damage, gas seal damage, and supercharger vibration. The daily good maintenance agement can reduce these failures.
