T- NR series Turbo Bearing is one part of T- MAN / T- NR series turbochargers, which were designed comparatively simply with a cast radial turbine, which is suitable for heavy fuel oil engines, marine diesel oil engines, biofuel and gas operation enginess. Products are available for a wide engine power range, from 450 kW to 5400kW per turbocharger and without compromise in reliability and performance.
T- NR series turbocharger is widely used in ship building, locomotive, land power station and petroleum drilling industries, extensively applicable to in-land and coastal transportation and fishing due to its high efficiency, small size, light weight, favorable maintainability and serviceability, adequate supply of spare parts.

Turbo Bearings play an important role in turbochargers. They not only ensure safe and reliable high-speed rotation of the rotor, but also ensure that the rotor is fixed in the correct position. Therefore, the reliability of the bearing is extremely relevant to the normal operation of the supercharger and the diesel engine. Turbocharger bearings are divided into rolling and sliding, marine superchargers mostly use rolling bearings, in addition to thrust bearings.
The rolling bearing has a small friction coefficient, generates less heat, and consumes less lubricating oil, which simplifies the lubrication system. Generally, the turbine oil only needs to be provided with an oil pool and a self-contained oil pump. Rolling bearings are easy to assemble and disassemble, have good starting performance and high efficiency. However, due to its service life limit, the specified service life must be replaced after the expiration of the service life.
The sliding bearing has a simple structure and low cost, and can be used with the same lubrication system of the diesel engine or a special external oil supply device, so that the overall structure of the supercharger is complicated, and maintenance and management requirements are high, otherwise it is prone to failure.
