T- RH133 turbocharger turbine housing (also called turbine casing or gas admission casing) belongs to one part of T- IHI / T- RH series exhaust gas turbocharger. T- RH series turbocharger consists of mixed flow turbine and radial flow compressor. This series of turbocharger can be used to match high-speed diesel engine. Inboard plain bearing is lubricated by the engine oil system. A seal plate and seal ring located in compressor side in order to prevent the air and oil leaking. The turbocharging efficiency is 60%-62%, and its compressor pressure ratio up to 3.6. T- RH series turbochargers are widely used in automotive, heavy truck, construction, marine and industrial engine.

A turbine housing (casing) includes a central aperture for containing a turbine blade assembly and directing exhaust gases past the turbine blades in a turbocharger. The turbocharger consists of a single stage impulse turbine connected to a centrifugal impeller via a shaft. The turbine is driven by the engine exhaust gas, which enters via the gas inlet casing. The gas expands through a nozzle ring where the pressure energy of the gas is converted to kinetic energy. This high velocity gas is directed onto the turbine blades where it drives the turbine wheel, and thus the compressor at high speeds (10 -15000 rpm). The exhaust gas then passes through the outlet casing to the exhaust uptakes.
